1) Setup: Add People, Equipment & Qualifications

Master lists

Add person

Add equipment

Equipment parent + children

When assigning kit, you can tick the parent to select all children, then untick any child you don't want.
If you untick children while the parent stays ticked, it will be treated as a kit exception and will be shown/warned about on bookings and staff overview.

Equipment catalogue (delete)

Deleting a parent deletes the parent set and all its children. Deleting a child deletes just that child. Deleting removes from all people and job requirements (future bookings re-checked).

2) Assign Equipment & Qualifications to People

Select a person and tick what they have

Equipment they have

Tick items and set quantities (defaults to 1).

Qualifications they have

How this affects bookings

When you save changes to a person's equipment/qualifications, any future bookings for that person are automatically re-checked and flagged if they no longer meet requirements.

Availability: a person cannot be double-booked on the same date.

Kit exceptions: if a person has a parent kit selected but unticks specific children, you’ll get a warning during booking checks, and those missing items will appear in staff + booking overviews.

3) Define Jobs & Check / Assign Bookings

Check first, assign second

Define a job

Required equipment (tick + quantity)

Tick required equipment and set the quantity required (defaults to 1).

Defaults come from the job. You can override quantities for this booking.

4) Overviews

Only created when you click Assign booking. Future bookings get flagged if kit/quals change. (Also flags conflicts if someone ends up double-booked via import.)
Archive: Past bookings (before today) appear in the Archived Bookings section below.
