Grand Prix is an active and often noisy circle game.
The idea is that the participants are pretending to be a racing car. To do this they need to make a car engine noise and all pretend to be holding a steering wheel.
The teacher / instructor will lead the proceedings. If they turn their wheel to the left they will make a tyre screeching noise and lean to the left. The person to the left must do the same until the move has been replicated around the circle back to the leader. They can pretend to go straight on and right also.
During the time that these actions are being copied the leader may add the following instructions:
 – Slam on your brakes……..EEEEEEK (sound effect) and at this point the direction of travel will be reversed. In this case left to right
 – Oil Slick followed by a name. That person and the person either side of them must stand up and turn around 360 degrees sit down and carry on
 – Pit Stop. Everyone must stand up turns around 360 degrees sit down and carry on.
The group can come also come up with other actions.
