The Problem Solving Company has run Maths Days in Staffordshire and around the rest of the UK since 2007 and they are a fantastic way to build pupil’s confidence in maths. Our maths challenges are designed to be in keeping with the National Curricular for each year group to ensure that all our challenges are at the right level. We deliver different activities to each year group to fit these requirements. This also allows us to revisit schools each year without any students duplicating any activities.

We are equipped to work with small groups within a single school or larger groups comprising students from multiple schools. The Cost Of A School Activity Day
Since 2007 we have often looked at the best way to charge schools for our Mobile Team Building Days. When we have spoken to schools, they say the most important thing is to have no hidden costs and to know what exactly they are paying for. Our booking paperwork details the cost and the number of instructors who will be present on the day. We do not charge extra for travel, insurance or for overnight stays. It does not matter where you are in Bristol the price will be the same. We do have to charge VAT but most schools will get this back.

Escape Rooms In Schools
Bring the experience of an Escape Room to your classroom in Bristol with The Problem Solving Company’s escape days. This is the perfect way to let your class feel what it is like to complete a real escape room without the extensive hassle of having to organise a school trip. Our escape challenges are suitable for all students from early KS2 upwards and come in a range of topics including but not exclusive to: Maths, Science, Egyptology and other historical civilisations and events. We appreciate space is a precious commodity for some schools, so this activity is ideal for a school hall or a large classroom.

For many schools the differing styles of day offered gives the opportunity to book numerous times a year. For many our Maths Problem Solving Days provide a yearly hands on fun experience in a subject that can get bad press! Our School Escape Rooms are another port of call with us now covering a huge array of subjects ranging from History to science. Lastly large numbers of UK schools start or finish the year with one of our Mobile School Team Building Days.
