Year 6 / 7 Team Building Transition Activity Days

The transition between Primary and Secondary schools can be a daunting time. The Problem Solving Company has successfully organised many on site year 6 / 7 team building transition activity days within different schools around the country. We take great delight in returning to schools to work with the new cohort of year 7 students to hear the older students say to each other, “Do you remember when we did that?”. This is often followed by a discussion of which activities were their favourites. We have annual bookings where we have now worked with every student in the school during their time in Year 7. Talking to school staff they say they see the benefits of the team building sessions for many years to come.

If you school is planning on organising some activities for your new year 7s this may be towards the end of the schools year or for others it will be at the beginning of the new school year in September. Which ever it is we can help your students make that step from year 6 to 7

There are many ways that we can organise our year 6/7 team building transition activity days. The two options below are the most popular.

Whole Year 7 Team Building Days

This option allows the whole year group to take part for the whole day all together. For this option we would bring a larger amount of activity sets, resources and instructors. This can be offered as our Bespoke Team Building days. This where we bring 1 instructor for every 30 students.

Alternatively if you are looking for a cheaper option you can book The Challenge Carousel which is a collection of 32 great team building activities available from £1500.00.

Form Team Building

1 instructor comes to your school and works with one of your newly established year 7 forms. This can be for various lengths of time but most schools either opt for half or a whole day. If you opt for half a day then we can fit in two forms in a day. Prices for this option start at £625.00 for the day and discounted for subsequent days.

Should you wish for this process to be run quicker additional instructor can come to the school. For example 2 instructors could see four year 7 forms in 2 days. This would cost £1200.00
